I you decide OTR should you get a divorce before you sign on or wait?

I would get the divorce before I sign on so that the court visits etc will not interfere with driving.
Also helps that the alimony payments can be set up.

It's also help when setting up payroll,that way your alimony payments can be deducted from your pay !

I don't see that it makes that much of a difference unless you have upcoming court dates or your support payments will end up being higher because of the extra income you are making. Your court fees may be free if you are poor enough in some states.

Hey ,you could always stay married as long as you don't mind your friends, who were smart enough to get Local & LTL jobs,service-ing your wife while your away for weeks at a time ....You know what I always say, "It's cheaper to Kill Her,oops ! I mean it's cheaper to keeper !!!.......................
