Actually the name of Singh is akin to Jones or Smith here in the States.
The names therefore can very well be legitimate however the story could very well be fabricated (but probably not considering caligoofy) since there wasn't a wreck involved (according to the article) to incite severe interest.

Hey ! How can they be blamed for the logbook thing? They could work as many hours as the wanted at the truckstop they used to own !!!! I think it was called 7/11 Truckstop........................

Before I started driving I had a job in a guard shack checking trucks in and out and there were several Singhs that drove for Covenant. This was in Ohio.
