I've had MORE luck with Freightshakers than any other make, however I drive whatever is presented since I'm not an O/O.
I prefer a Pete 379 with a 3406-D Cat and a reverse 9 with 336-356 rears.
I'm happy with a 13 speed too.
I've driven Volvos and can work with these LARGE CARS too.
I like KW (NOT the T-2000) because I can roll the passenger window when driving, just like in a Pete. It's a challenge in a Freightshaker and Volvo.

you left out Mack.....so "other" could have included, Scania, Iveco, Sterling, Mann, Oshkosk, LaFrance, etc, etc. you needed to have more selections.

as a result, of ALL the trucks i have driven.....

this one is the nicest.......................(XXXXXXXX)........... ..

I've driven the Freightliner (Century), Volvo, International and Kenworth T600. Volvo's ride nice but the International ProStar's ride like cars. I really enjoy the Kenworth though. It's not as smooth and not as roomy but it's reliable and I generally get anywhere between 7.5 to 8.5 mpg with them. It's more of a challenge to back sometimes when I can't look out the window and see the trailer, but I adjusted to that pretty quickly.

It is funny that this is posted because I got to drive a mack the other day because all of the linehaul trucks we're not availible.....I must say I will never make that mistake again....very rough ride , not much change to the steering wheel, maybe it was me but the gears seemed tight and hard to get into ....I guess I have been used to driving the internationals or volvo....love the comfort and ride of the volvo....since they turned down the speed to 62 when u hit a hill with any amount of weight it slows down to 50 to 55 that is the one downside....mustangfan
