PGT wants me but...

I got a voice mail from PGT today saying they want to set me up for orientation. The problem I have is,I would rather go to Maverick but they said it would be 5 days before I heard anything(3 days now). Should I put off calling PGT back or should I let them set up my orientation and hope Maverick calls before I leave??? I would hate to put them off and then Maverick not call and lose out on both.

set up an appointment for orientation at least a month from now. if that isn't good for them, then maybe 2 weeks from now.

you don't want to ever take a chance and brush off a job now for a chance that the other may not materialize later.....!!!

this will give you a two week to one month chance for Maverick........

There is an OTR Trucking Company here in NC that has confirmed me for the Apple Juice test and Orientation.
They are on hold until I go forward with finalization or unless I find something Local.
AS Pro1 said, set the Orientation date for a bit out and call Maverick BEFORE the 5 days are up just to confirm your interest.
A phone call never hurts unless from the Police or Feds.

but first you have to tell us about any phone call you made to USIS regarding the "other" person........

that ALL NEEDS to be cleared up BEFORE you go anywhere's....

don't forget, MORE background checking WILL BE DONE while you are in orientation....!!!!!

you can get KICKED OUT if that information isn't corrected.........!!!!!!!

I called them today and listened to their automated thing which told me to download the dispute form and send it in.
When I talked to PGT she asked me about it and I told her it wasn't me.That was before I got the USIS report in the mail. When I get there they will obviously be able to tell that I'm not black.
I'm going to tell them that I want to give my current employer at least 2 weeks to be pissed off at me for leaving. They paid for me to get my CDL back in March but recently my boss is being a real a**hole and business is slowing down.Plus the insurance they offer is $126/wk for my family and it sucks on top of that.
Thanks for the advice,thats what I was thinking I just wanted a 2nd or 3rd opinion.
