 Peterbilt for sale
I hope its alright to post this here, I am posting this for my son.
He recently purchased a 2003 Pete 387 with about 700,000 mile on it.
It needed some minor repairs and these were made so that it would pass the
DOT inspection. New tires have been installed in the front. It has a refrigerator
that is in good condition and the body is in excellent condition.
We had a Comfort Master APU installed to the tune of approximately $13000.
The truck is valued at $40000 without the APU. He owes about $32000.
The APU is paid for and we will sacrifice this unit with the sale of the truck.
Thats a 40000 dollar truck with 13000 dollar APU with about 50 hours on it
for a total value of 53000 that we are willing to sell for the cost of the truck.
In other words we will sell the truck for the buy out cost of the current
contract.
Here is why we have to do this. My son is Bi-polar and the severity of
his illness was compounded by stress and other factors that are weighing
on his mind at this time. Right now he is completely disabled and unable to
drive. His driving career is over so obviously we need to sell his truck. It
would have worked for him had he not had a breakdown. He had signed a
contract with U S Express and made 2 runs that netted him over 800.00
so the income potential was good. Keep in mind that even though we do
need to sell this truck we are not in a desperate need to do this so offers
will need to at least be able to buy out his current contract.
