Default Ice Road Trucking

I would try it just to say I did it but the money wouldn't be to bad either.

No thanks. It has nothing to do with the danger of the ice. I just hate cold with a passion usually reserved for religious fervor.

nope, not me..........

ever since i was a tricycle motor, i HATED snow and cold, then add ice into the fray..........

good money......???? i don't know, maybe it IS good money for such a short time out there, but those guys GOT to be able to do more than just drive. they GOT to be a mechanic, and equipment operator as well........

AND to add to this, since they can't really "sit" for any lenght of time on the ice.......

how do they "relieve" themselves.....?? yeah, probably a bottle as they drive...........but what about the "other" end of the body.....??????

me personally, if i can't take the time to read a newspaper or two, then a few magazines, while i'm "sitting down".........then ice road trucking definately isn't for me...........

hate like heck to freeze my "tucous" as i'm "reading".............

It's probably not that bad. They beef things up and capture only the drama for the ratings on the network.

Keep in mind they're only going 15 maybe 20 mph on the ice. I'd rather pull a road-train in the "outback".
