Default Maverick ??

I was just wondering what you all have heard about Maverick ... I have already applied to CR England to get my training... i have passed the written test in WV already but its IMPOSSIBLE to find someone around home to train and hire you.... England has called me and said that they want me to come up there and train, but From what i've heard about England I may tell them NO ... Im looking into other companys and i've applied to schnieder and maverick as well... Just wondering what yall thought Im only 21 so some companys will not hire me yet....

many people from these boards are either presently at Maverick, or on thier way there for training. not too many people speack badly of Maverick....

as for England, after your initial training, they have yet another trainer go along with you for a short period of time. that person tries to sweet talk you into a lease/purchase plan.........

if i haven't already said so, i will say it now..........

DO NOT WAIT for any specific phone call over another one..........

you could be waiting for nothing to happen.........

so, if say for instance, ABC trucking called you, and you really don't care much for them, then at least "set up" an orientation time of about 2-3 weeks away...

THEN, get on the phone, and call the company YOU DO WANT to work for and ask them about your application.....

IN FACT, you may want to call any company you are interested in, on a weekly basis, this let's them know YOU WANT the job, plus it keeps you up to date on a regular basis........

in the meantime, if the company you WANT to work for DOESN'T CALL you, then at least you already have the orientation date set up with someone else..........
