Default trimac

Thanks for reply back.I was really wondering how long the average otr driver stays out with trimac?Taylor,mi mgr. said from 7-10 days usually. He seems like an upfront guy but you never know.I don't like wasting my time with lying recruiters from some of these companies.I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. He also said something about training in Texas, but I forgot to ask if that is paid training?I've been a regional driver with Holland and other companies, but I'm laid off now.I just don't really like being out more than 5-6 days at a time with kids at home and all. Thanks for any pertinent info you think might help me in my decision.

when i finished training i was a regional driver. mostly out and back the same day or next. i talked with the guys that ran the system and 7-10 days seems to be right. if you needed back sooner you could request that also. what i didnt like was not getting paid for everything you did. everywhere you go, you dont get paid for the first hour. also after hauling freight for 32 years i couldnt get used to the splashing around of the liquid. but there doesnt seem to be much else going on in this area as far as jobs go. good luck
