Default Anti DHL commercial ideas

When DHL broke out in America they ran a commercial where a UPS package car and a FedEx Express are both stopped at flashing railroad lights, facing each other. They both kind of smirk back and forth and nod, in a friendly competitive way.

Now, cue the train that breaks their stare-down. It's loaded front to back with yellow DHL trucks coming into the market to kick both of their butts.

What would be a good commercial for UPS and/or FedEx to run now that DHL has forfeited and is pulling out? I'm thinking that it could show the two drivers from UPS and FedEx hooking a chain to several yellow DHL trucks, then tethering the other end to a ship flying the German flag. As the ship sails out, it pulls the trucks behind it while they float like baby ducks following their momma.

Any other ideas?

A UPS Truckload flatbed with some DHL vans on it dropping them off at the ship yard.

Then in a few weeks, run your commercial

You could always put it in perspective and show an endless line of DHL employees standing in the unemployment line wondering where they'll get their next paycheck to feed their families.

It's never good to see a company go under, no matter how much you dislike them.

Easy Medic, I'm not going there. This isn't about that. We're just having fun with commercials like DHL did when they ran theirs. I'm laid off and standing in that line you're talking about so don't think I don't have a heart!

i really don't remember that commercial. how long ago was it...??

in any event, for a "new" shipping company to come here (from overseas) and think they can over throw the big guys, like FedEx and UPS, took a lot of (you know what's) between thier legs.............

now, they got thier "tail" between thier legs.........

i said it before, and i'll say it again, "good ridance they are going away".........they really weren't that good to begin with.............
