Thumbs down $50 more for your permit in Kentucky
My wife just went to the courthouse to get a CDL manual for her schoolbus adventure. The clerk gave her a flier that states starting yesterday (9-5-2006) there will be an additional fee of $50 in addition to the normal $11 for the CDL permit. This additional $50 is put in a fund for the state police for some awareness and training BS.
