How does the Wilson 5000 Trunk Lip Mount , mount to the trunk? And what is the possibility of the whip antenna hitting my car or someone else's car when driving or in windy conditions? And does the trunk lid mount crack or break the paint?

it has a piece that goes in the seam and on the underside of the trunk and tightens against the underside of the trunk.

this is a hood mount braket but it is similar to the trunk mount
