Got CDL permit; where to look for on job training?

I'm in So. Jersey very close to philly. I have all in order for training as truck driver, but economy what it is.... where do I start looking? Schneider says not hiring my area. Anyone from my area want to point me in the right direction?

I live on the left coast so I don't know much about your side of the US, but I'd get down to one of the truck stops and pickup some of those free trucking magazines on the racks. Most use a map to show their hiring areas. Good luck to you, friend!

Just do some research BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING!!

One of the biggest mistakes a lot of experienced drivers and inexperienced drivers make is signing up with a company BEFORE doing reasonable research and becoming discouraged or miserable because of their choice.

Another big mistake is the job hopping since it clearly demonstrates instability.
