I couldn't stay away lol. The reason I wanted to leave was because it did break my heart to quit driving, I guess I can live
the truck drivers life vicariously through you guys and your stories. By the way the thread on tales of the 10 min nap had me laugjhing so hard I was crying good stuff keep it comming

I'm glad your back and I hope you stay, I'm sure you have alot to give regardless of your career decisions, I think what your doing is great, I wish I could do it, your a good man!!!

I think I missed Tales of the ten minute nap but I got one.

I was running through Ohio one night. From Cols. to Toledo. Running through the woods I got hit w/a real bad case of fatigue. Pulled into the first place I could find, on the side of a convenience store. Already pretty much full of trucks in the little area you could park. To get out of the way, I pulled all the up to within a foot of the van in front of me. Pulled the brakes and was out. Never killed the lights or anything. When the idle shutoff killed the engine, I jerked awake immediately. Almost had a heart attack, I thought I was less than a second from creaming the rear of that van parked in front of me at highway speed. I was so freaked out I couldn't sleep the rest of the night.
