I was watching a show on a local cable channel about all the things wal-mart does how low there pay is how they encourage employees to use government programs for the the poor so they can continue to give crappie benefits.

Wail mart specifically dislikes WOMEN and the pay rates substantiate the statement.
Just ask ANY Woman that is currently or has worked at wail mart for clarification.

The drivers are apparently the ONLY EMPLOYEES that make better wages, according to them.

Wail mart is WELL KNOWN for offering low wages therefore I'll not contest the original post!!

As with most employers anymore, getting people to work for less than 40 hours a week entitles them to NO BENEFITS or such reduced bennies as to mean nothing worth the inflated cost.

Too many people work for wail mart because there is nowhere else offering work in many locations.

--Right before I commit a crime to support myself (like robbing a wail mart store or related), I might consider an employment gig at a local wail mart however I'm probably over qualified somehow, and a blinding $8.00 an hour is somehow stopping me from applying--

sorry if I was shouting from my soap box but I guess I got a little fired up after watching the show and then going to the site. I worked there years ago apparently things haven't changed. yes CK unfortunately a lot of the people who work there let themselves be bullied by this company out necessity to keep there job it's sad, including working off the clock and other shady practices they do.

I seen a story on one of the news channels about OTR's that all they do is drugs and paying for whore's every night. I have seen web sites that will back up these stories about the low life OTRs.

After 30 years over the road I know these stories not to be true for all OTR drivers but just a small percentage. It does happen but not in a large percent as these stories imply. After 8 years at Walmart I know that these stories of working off the clock and people have to go on welfare and work at Walmart are just a small percent. Most are due to the fact that these workers would rather work just 10 hours a week at a job and still draw a welfare check. A lot of these stories are spread by union propaganda and fired workers that could not hold a job picking their nose. So can I assume that all OTRs are drug users and have aids from whores?

while I see the point your making I would still would have to agree to disagree with you to be fair I will do more research on the topic and get back to you I think we have turning a blind eye to the shabby treatment of wal mart employees to long.
