cdl skills test

well i took my pretrip, incab & skills test today, i passed all but the skills,, damn cone came out and jumped behind me.. So i will have to reschedule and take again,,, atleast i was able to pass the pretrip and in cab.. One day i will get my cdl..

You really need to watch out for the Orange Cone family. They can be a tricky group. Good luck with your "re-take"

sorry to hear you didn't pass all the tests, but i'm glad you DID pass others.....

not everybody passes all the test the first time.........

nerves, temporary loss of memory, and an occassional brain fart happen on testing day........

now that you know those whiley cones jump out of no-where's, you will be a bit more carefull in anticipating the next "JUMP".........

thanks for the reply... Makes me feel alittle better, it just turned out that so far out of the school that i am taking I was the only one sar far to not get my CDL... It must have been nerves because in class ( on range ) this was my best part, i could have lost the farm if i put money on it.. Oh well i guess the course was the same but the senery was different and it just threw me down.. I will get it next time, and keep everyone updated..

Ryan don't feel bad, those Schneider eggs can be sneaky lil buggers.
You will get it.
The day I went to take my test with 5 other Male drivers (and yep, my trainer just new I would be the only one NOT getting my CDL that day) well not bragging, I was the only who DID get their CDL that day, simple backing maneuver that the guys had supposedly mastered and yet I am the only one who got it that day lol.

Just remember, everything happens for a reason. Good Luck next time around.

thanks for the reply... it seems odd, but i thought that the skills test would be the least of my problems,, im not no master at downshifting either.. My opinon is just slow down ( thats my problems ) i try to downshift while still going to fast.. But hopefully i will be able to get it all behind me next week when i retake the test.
