How do you investigate someone's background?

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to dig up some information on someone. I'm being nosey and curious for no particular reason. I found a little of the info I wanted, but was curious how I find more.

If you are speaking of a Member of this board, what they decide to put in there profile is all you have access to..... Tb protects there members Idenities other than those sort by Law Enforcement... it is all in the rules.... If you are seeking info on a TB member I would strongly Suggest you Abandon that thought. If your speaking in other terms you are welcome to do as you please

That is a very good question, I would like to know the answer to that as well. I have been told you can find just about anything about anyone on the web if you know where to look, problem is I don't know where to look. Take for instance google, I can google myself and find out limited things, however I have to search for hours, not being able to narrow the search as much as I would like. We need an amature PI to give us a little info on this one.

I could care less about what the members of trucking boards are up to. My question was more out of curiosity. I met a crook and with a little googling I discovered he stole around 10 million dollars. I was just curious if I could dig up any info on him. It seems he has new and different schemes now. I'm mainly curious what he is up to without asking him.

you would start out by getting the social security number, then a date of birth. you can alos access your state court system regarding offenders, and/or by accessing the "adult criminal data base", which since its a matter of public record, should be online as well.

then the tried and true way, hire a P.I.
