Default truck lease purchase

do any of you guys know of any companies that offer good lease purchase plans on used trucks? also if i buy a 99-2000 freightliner fld out of pocket, are there any good companies to lease on with that will allow a truck that old?

i know the container companies will take them but what about flatbeds and vans?

i am a company driver but need to start looking at other employment options....

I've heard decent things about John Christner Trucking. Could always check them out.

If I couldn't pay cash for a truck, I wouldn't even try it right now. Not trying to sound like an old -fart- know-it- all type, but I've never seen it like this.

And if you ever plan on getting your own truck one day, buy it yourself. Please don't even consider one of those lease purchase scams from any company.

They have professional sales people who can be very convincing, I understand. Don't fall for it. They will promise you anything.

Not trying to be a party pooper, just hate to see somebody get burned.

My younger bro did the lease purchase deal some yrs back and got screwed.every thing was fine right up till the last year of his lease. Then the comp started to cut his legs off.No loads crappy paying loads. In the end he couldnt make his payment and they took the truck.they got a 3 yr old truck and only had to pay verry little for it.Your best bet would be to buy from a o/o for cash.if its your first truck dont go crazy and buy a 80,000 dolar rig go cheap till you gaine revinew.

I would bet they didn't pay anything for his 3 year old truck, because they probably leased it to the next sucker that walked through the door. Did he try going to a bank and get financing for the remainder of the money owed on it?
