Default safestat

After seeing many post on how is this company how is that company I thought this would be helpful. If I was thinking about working for a company the this web site http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/safestat/safestatmain.asp it shows you all the safety statistics of the drivers, company, and equipment. I think the quality and safety of a company says alot about them.
be safe out there

I would drive a bus for 19.55 PH if they had mediocre safety record.

I am like a 94 on safe-stat but that is because i am a new carrier and have never had an inspection, so their is no data to bring down my number but i have talked to FMCSA and they tell me that as i get a few paper checks and inspections the number will come down.

Safestat has some flaws. For instance, if a 4 wheeler hits you and you have to be towed, this counts against your safestat score as an accident. It doesn't categorize the accidents as to who was at fault.
