next time I run into one of them I'l ask for ya.I pick up a couple of times a week where there is always a bulk tanker del. material for making grout [for tile] I have learned that they seem to be in a hurry and pity the fool that left his truck and is blocking him access to the silo

Big daddy,
I work for them, they are just like every other company out there, they have there ups and downs! I am a local driver, so I am home every night, I haul on the dry bulk (cement) side. We are paid per ton for anything under 250 miles. over 250 miles then you are paid mileage pay. I think the pay is a little different for the liquid and the propane side that they haul. I am on winter layoff right now, but will soon be going back as soon as the weather starts to officially break! as we know it's a little hard to do concrete work in 0 degree weather!! Although through the spring/summer/fall they keep us hopping, and if you are willing to work they will have work for you! The only thing that slow's us down is when it's raining hard for atleast 2 days in a row, b/c usually then the company's that we haul to silos are full! They do have delay pay of $16 per hr after the first hr. of loading, and 2 hrs unloading. I don't know if you was thinking about going to the pneumatic tank side or not. but usually the longest you are at a shipper atleast for us is less than a half hour. I think kantgetryte might be on the eastern side of pa, not too sure, but I am on the western side and out here we get along with almost all the companies that haul cement as well, so we ain't usually in as big of a hurry over here and will stand around and talk to other's!!
