Default Work Comp Claims?

Hey guy's I had 3 different claims with the same company over an 11 year employment. But all 3 were in the last 5 years, nothing serious that effects my ability to work broken tiba (knee) broken finger and a pulled lower back muscle. I have been tring to get a new job with no sucess and am thinking it's because of the claims? I am 42 year's old with a perfect driving record and left my last employment on good terms. Is there anything I can do when applying for jobs? Can I get those claims off my background? Should I look for a new line of work?

yes those claims ARE HURTING YOU.

other companies are seeing you as a liability, which will then boost up thier insurance premiums.

you are also showing that you are accident prone.

they do not wish to touch you.

you might try in NOT disclosing those claims, but they might also call your employer, BUT in most instances, the MOST a former employer "usually say's", is that you indeed DID WORK THERE for whatever lenght of time.

i'd try NOT giving out too much info, on your next interview, and see what happens.

and if that doesn't work...............???

well employment else where's may be in your future.

I have never said anything about my claims in an interview or on an application, I think they are coming up when they do a back ground check on me? Because I almost got hired at a company when they said ok let me just run a back ground check on you and if everything is good your hired. Then a week later I get a letter in the mail saying thanks but we are going with other drivers.

I think I would hire a lawyer and get to the bottom of this.

That could very well be on the background checks. I did alot of work with my father a couple years ago running background checks under his PI license and one of the providers had a national search for work comp claims. Not sure how you could fix the problem at this point tho.....
