New Trucking Company?

I just found an ad in my local paper today for a company called FleetMaster. Their website is Fleetmaster Express. Has anyone ever heard of it? Their website is still half under construction yet. I was wondering if they were worth applying too..

Sounds like a Truckload carrier to me.

My problem is that I was just approved by another company and they want me to start Monday. Then this one comes along and they are an hour closer to me. But they seem to be fairly new (website still half under construction and phone numbers for some of their terminals are "pending") and Im not too keen on working for a recent startup company because of the way freight is down right now.

Smaller and newer isn't so bad. Operating costs might not hurt them like some bigger companies. I wish you luck with your new company. Which ever one you choose.

It was founded in 1987 in Roanoke by Bill Bumgarner who died last year. His son R. Carl Bumgarner runs the outfit now.

Not sure how long they've been around, but I've seen their trucks quite a bit down South, for many years. Seem to run alot of Internationals and Freightliners from what I've seen...
