Default Companies to apply for after a 3 year DUI???

Thank you. I slipped and got a DUI 3 1/2 years ago. Could you please tell me which companies would look at my application for hire. Your help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

right now, things are WAY TOO SLOW and of course the economy has tanked several months ago. jobs are not as readily available right now.

but i would at least have to say "the usual" places like Swift, Werner, maybe J.B. Hunt.

then you can also try some local LTL companies in your area. if those local companies are NOT hiring drivers, but THEY ARE HIRING dockworkers, at least you are working.

Thank you very much Pro. I will at least check. I plan on applying at the end of the year. In the mean time I am reading, studying, and learning everything on how to be a safe & good driver. Again, Thank you, Pro.

READING about how to do things is great for preparation yet useless without application.
If I were to read a lot of books about how to fly a plane, does my limited knowledge then allow me to put into action the skills for flying a Plane?
Would you go with me?
Too many hypothetical or theoretical situations for books to cover.

Experience narrows these down.
EXPERIENCE is the only teacher and the only knowledge recognized, however in light of the economy even experience is not being considered.
Therein another quandary begins.

As to which companies accepting those drivers or potential drivers with a DUI, I know not.
Most companies clearly state a minimum of 5+ years from conviction date and there are conditions applicable as well per company regulations/rules/qualifications.

I bought a DWI in '91 in a personal vehicle and some companies have a problem with it, so go figure.

Was your DUI in a personal vehicle or a CMV?
