satellite for your truck.

cerberus thought this may intrest some of you.for years now i have had a portable satellite on my truck.i started out with an old crank up one that took forever to to find a sat.had to adjust it by hand.some years back i bought a in-motion one.in-motion means you lock on to a sat then push a button and it will track the satellite while you drive.i did this becouse the kids like to go with me and they get bord.when this happens all they have to do is jump in the bunk turn on the tv and watch what they want.so while you bitc@#$ about traffic theyer watchin i love lucy and laughing.remember a hundred years ago when you could pull into a truck stop and plug in to that yellow dome you parked beside and have cable.i think i paid like 5 bucks a night you dont see many of those any more.the one i have on my truck is called a kingdom.little pricy but i spend alot of time on the road so its worth it.hears a link if you want to check them out.you do have to subscribe to a network.and for spelling and gramer coments im a truck driver not an english teacher.http://satellitedish.com/portable

I also had a Kingdome satelite on my truck. I liked it alot, just wanted to note that Direct Tv allowed me to use it as an extra receiver on my home account so it only cost an extra 4.99 per month. I used to do alot of tradeshows and it sure made sitting in a parking lot for days more tolerable.
