Trimac is a Canadian owned trucking company.
It started out in the mid fourties as two distinct companies in southern Saskatchewan. These companies were HM Trimble and Macaigh trucking.
The company has gone through several iterations, going public for a time, then being re-aquired by Mr Bud Macaigh and his family.
They are a company that has done well, and survived the many changes in the trucking industry through time.
They tend to prefer to have leased power units and drivers. The equipment is reasonably well maintained, but tends to be older, with some of it nearing its' life expectancy.
While I drive for one of Trimacs' competitors, the folk I know who work there are reasonably happy.
