the only thing(s) i can say is that "i got mine".........

now, IN MY LOCAL newspapers, some jobs are "prefering" that an applicant has one...........

REQUIRED to have one is also being seen, again, IN MY LOCAL newspapers.

now too, many online job sites i visit, this card is becoming REQUIRED.........

so whether or not no one wants to get one...........

if your job REQUIRES you to have one..........

then you know what you got to do, to either KEEP your job, or get that job that's open...........

i got mine to be able to load fuel at the ports of boston and providence.
you need a loading card from each individual loading terminal to acsess the loading rack but to get aloading card they just look at your twic. other than that i've never been asked for it.

Kind of feel like we were mis led a bit in how they are supposed to work. Went into port of balto. They just glanced at twic card, but still wanted my dl #. Thought twic card was so you didn't have to give up that info anymore at the ports.

Twic card payments are helping to pay for the economic stimulus program, i guess the gov thinks truckdrivers have a lot of discretionary income.
I wonder what the next revenue producing program they will come up with next. Lock up that chain drive wallet..your uncle looking for help and he's targeting truck drivers..
