Default Company's with refresher training!

I am a laid off worker in Michigan. I am looking at getting back into trucking. I am looking for any input as to what company's offer refresher training. I have 1 yr OTR experience. I have been out for 4 yrs. I took my first training through a local college and prefer not too take the course all over again. I am looking to go OTR again or possibly Straight Truck expediting. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Post Refresher

ROEHL is a very good OTR company to get any kind of training from. They offer the refreshing course. Heartland also offers a refresher course. They do a pretty good job also. If you run regional for them, you can be home almost every weekend.

Are you not confident you can drive? 1yr isn't much, but you should know how still? I'd make up a line of BS and find a job if I wasn't afraid of being unsafe or passing the road test.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I can still drive and I am confident. Was just needing to refresh the laws as to what has changed since my last outing. Roehl is a great company but that is who I was driving for. I quit to go local and that Owner screwed me over. At that time I tired to rehire on to roehl and was turned down so I am not sure id they will rehire me or not after 4 years.

Sounds like you burned your bridges somehow? I wonder what it says on your DAC?
