Default Schneider National

Hello everyone me & my husband are Team drivers for Schneider National. We have been with the company for many years. We have been reading some forums pretaining to Schneider National . We just wanted to let everyone know Schneider is not laying off drivers!! Schneider is hiring experienced drivers in some markets especially teams. Schneider has put a Freeze on 401k & Wages for all employees even the President for 2009. The 401k match will be added at the end of the year. As a team driver for Schneider our company is very strong and bringing on new customers daily to keep the drivers moving in this economy. Be safe in your travels !!

If they dont have freight for you, then you sit in a truckstop for two or three days while they deduct fuel expenses for idling from your check. That will be the next trick. I cant believe that a trucking company would have the kahunas to do that to a company driver...

Can you expand on this comment?
Are you assuming they do this , or do they do this?
Or do you expect them to do it, and why

I'm talking about the " ...they deduct fuel expenses for idling your truck" comment

Im not saying that they are doing it, but other big companies appear to be doing this, from what I have seen on a few other threads and some watchdog websites. It wouldnt suprise me if they tried it. I have seen schneider do some silly things locally here...

They have NEVER deducted fuel costs from a driver for idling.
