Big Snowstorm in the East

Having just watched some news coverage of this big storm I feel for all you drivers stuck in this mess. They showed Greenville, SC as a complete standstill. People are running out of fuel, food.

i 26 in tn around the nc line shut down for most off yesterday and this morning they swowed the road block on the news some idiot tried to goaround the state troopers and go on across only to have the troopper run him down the driver claimed that they had no right to close the highway just because of a few wrecks even though they had three tractor trailor jackknifes and 4 cars in the wall or ditch

It got pretty rough in Northern Virginia last night and early this morning as well. Normally when I leave there to head back to Pa, I run into the snow when I get past Hagerstown. This time I ran out of it there and had dry roads in the Keystone. Go figure.

up here in New England, i got up at 3 AM and started to shovel and use the snow blower because first, it was the heavy stuff, and then i HAD to go to work for 7 AM.....

then, when i got somewhat done, the snow piled up again, about 2.5 to 3 inches at my starting point.

i said the heck with it, i gotta get off to work.

when i got to work, there was 5 other guys waiting to begin the day. but the plows were still cleaning the yard, and those guys started at midnight.....

about 45 minutes into our waiting time, we were told to go home, we were shutting down........

back home i go, via I-95..........

believe it or not, i didn't have any problems on the road, going in either direction.......or even in my driveway......

but, i DID GET STUCK in the company yard.....as i was trying to leave.....!!

i drove home from NY just got home a cpl hrs ago.i didnt see where it was all that bad.i have seen far worse.i see alot of cars and trucks off the road but my truck is use to the snow it knows what it's doing.
