my only "experience" with Marten is this.
a young man i knew from a previous job had gone there right out of trucking school.
he was older than 21, married and had the "usual bills" a married person has, along with the school loan.
he was "discharged" from Marten after (about) 3 weeks into their employ.
he had "rubbed up" against a yellow pole at a truck stop and had the yellow paint on his bumper, but NO OTHER DAMAGE, JUST PAINT...!!
i saw the pictures he took on his digital camera, from all angles....
they "discharged him" when he got back to thier terminal.........
i (would have) think that maybe a severe tounge lashing or denial of any bonus to teach him a "lesson", but NO they fired him.........
so beware of NOT JUST Marten, BUT ANY OTHER trucking company you go to work for, especially these days of high unemployment rates. you could become another statistic soon enough.
