Unhappy How long to hang on????

Been laid off for a little over 2 months now from a union company. I have great wages and benefits and a pension. Have been there for about 4 years. Just dont know how long to give it or how long i can survive. The problem is no one pays the money or has the benefits that i have with my currnet company. What to do?? any suggestions??

Thats the 64,000 dollar question.

Personally if I had a family I would take whatever I could to feed that family until I could get better.

Not many jobs out there right now. Take a look around and do whatever is best for you and your family. Your call back rights give you enough time, that if you want, and work picks back up, you can always return to that job.
