What's going on at Schneider??

I've noticed alot of Schneider trucks hauling a set of pups (doubles) lately. I've also noticed their 800 number is blackend out on the back. A friend of mine called them to see what's up. He acted like he was interested in driving for them. He has all endorsement's and an impeccable driving record. They didn't want him.

Schneider has always had a few pups, some they use to supply thier operating centers with parts, some are on dedicated accounts. As far as the phone number blacked out, drivers will do that to avoid people calling in on them. You'll see that on other carrier's trailers also.

It's true they aren't hiring right now though. Well, they are hiring teams and supposedly certain areas where they need people. I've been sitting here in KY since yesterday morning so they definitely don't need any OTR drivers. krzy is right about the blacked out numbers.
