Virginia trying to close half the rest area's!!!!!

These meetings are already taking place. If you are a truck driver that travels in Virginia we need your help. Please call or email Govenor Tim Kaine's office and fuss and cuss about this please. We need these rest area's. We need MORE rest area's not less.

they have already restricted the rest areas to two hour parking only in most areas they had that story on landline now i guess now they just want to close them all together virginia is gettting very anti truck

That stinks . I'am on I-81 4 times a week . They NEED all the rest areas open for the public . They also need more rest ares going north bound . There's a 150 or so mile stretch with out any . Watch and see ......they will keep them OPEN but you will have to PAY .

Well we can't forget Virginia also wants to build a truck toll road that runs beside I81. They been trying for years to get this. Closing the rest area's will be a step in that direction.

Yeah, sure, uh huh, I wanna see where THAT road would be in the stretch of I-81 from Roanoke to Wytheville and MANY other areas as well of Mountain terrain.
