I never thought I'd see the day when so many truckers are outta work.
If freight is so slow how are stores keeping their shelves stocked??
I haven't seen any bare aisles in the loacal grocery just yet.

One thing is for sure. Americans aren't going to stop eating. Grocery haulers will probably keep rolling no matter what. I hear the cheap quik snak items () are up in sales.

This is a disaster of logic. The shelves are stocked because people aren't buying the stuff, therefore low freight levels.

Lightbulb Read the business section of your newspaper

Here in Cleveland one of our family owned stores, Rego, has closed 5 area stores and two are still open. Shelves are full at those two stores, now. Probably. This appears to be about the economy. I could be mistaken.

Also, my local Family Dollar and Dollar General stores are hiring employees. Go figure!!
