I started with H.O. Wolding when I first got my CDL. I enjoyed my time there, good company to work for, pay isn't great but they treat you good. Got home every weekend and sometimes during the week, depends on where you live. The only reason I left was for a local job, I am not cut out for sleeping in the truck when I have a house I can sleep in. Good Luck.

LOTS of things you be aware of, yet you are referring to H. O. Wolding correct?

If not then:

Just be sure to have your own supply of Jake Brake Fluid as well as Shoes and you'll get the hang of those jokes. Muffler Bearings as well as Left Handed Automatic Revolvers, Tanker Load Locks, cans of Whoop *****, and cans of Squat.
Also be wary of some comedians that like to switch Air Lines because when Red is on Blue, you ain't gonna move.
When Blue is on Red your Clutch will be dead.
Check your 5th wheel pin or simply apply pressure before locking brakes when exiting the Combo especially at truck stops. There ARE A LOT of jerks about.

ALWAYS lower landing gear before disconnecting from a trailer because some people have forgotten and there's LOTS OF FUN then.
Raising Landing Gear AFTER hooking up S. E. E. (Service [Blue], Electrical [Green or Black], Emergency [Red]). Sometimes ALL Lines are Black, then it's fun at Night.

ALWAYS have your Flashers on when Backing despite what some drivers say.
USE ALL THE ROOM AVAILABLE when Backing and do not be concerned how many times you have to pull up to set up. It's BETTER to do as many pull ups as you need than ruin a truck or trailer which then basically ruins your potential career.
I've been driving about eight years and a lot of times in tight places (like Jersey, PA., CT, Mass., MI.) I feel like I'm in Backing 101 class.

Turn the CB OFF when backing at ANY truck stop because that is why WE say G. O. A. L.
Get Out And Look!!

my brother drove for them back in the early 90's they treated him good but the pay wasnt alot.but it was a job.and a job today is a great thing no matter how bad the company may or may no be.if you dont like it in 6 month's look for another but keep driving till you find one and give atleast 2 weeks notice.dont burn bridges if you dont have to.it shows your carictor and your word.
