I was watching this show last night . It's a sting operation of luring pervs to a home where a young girl is waiting for them . This is all done over chat rooms on the internet . Once there the MC asks them questions on why they are there , then the police bust them .
The one segment shows a CONVENT tractor bobtailing to the home . He parks his truck in the driveway and goes into the home . Once there the MC asked would his trucking company approve of him using there equipment to do this act . He said NO and the police bust him and impound the truck , I presume .
I know it takes all kinds to make the world go around ( good and bad ) , I was just amazed how they keep on showing the company name on the tractors door .

i saw that episode a long time ago. COVENANT was actually blurred out on the door, but anyone who drives a truck knows exactly which company it is.

Why should the names be blurred out since these people are committing a crime. They should have their pictures posted to their specific company website of their Booking picture.
When other drivers started seeing what is possible should they have similar ideas, a lot of trucker criminal activity would cease when in company trucks or so logic dictates.

A trucking company I worked for in '00 had a Wall of Shame that depicted every driver that got any type ticket, date of offense, location.
There were sections devoted to different and similar offenses.
I was fine with that even when I as well was posted for a minor traffic lesson.
It was humorous to see some people posted on a seemingly consistent basis in a variety of sections.

Ironic that this guy worked for Covenant. Aren't they the ones that have the Christian sayings on thier trailer doors? Picking up teens from the internet is not a good Christian thing to do unless you attended seminary...... er... oops...

Blurring out the company name... well I think we all know that the Corp is in control of these things. For example:

Jack Sprat driver for XYZ corp sees a car roll over and burst into flames. As a good Christian, he stops and pulls the family out saving them. Even though he was acting as a Christian and not a driver for XYZ, XYZ exploits the heck out of it by putting him in the company newsletter, hailing him. I see this as an attempt to exploit the event hoping that people will wrongly assume that this Corp has a heart or a soul.

Jack Sprat diddles a 11 year old and XYZ company has thier name blurred out because they have a stable of lawyers waiting to defend the Corp in a defamation suit.

In both instances I feel the company SHOULD be left out as Jack, for better or worse, was acting as an individual.

Covenant isn't the christian company they may want people to believe they represent as is evident by MANY former and current drivers.
Anyways, covenant isn't the issue thank you.

The People that are caught doing these sex crimes should have their Booking pictures plastered all over their hometown because they're NOT WORTH HIRING in trucking ever again.
If one of these perps were me, I would expect no less than City wide notification much in the same way as Sex Offenders.

These folk wanna play yet want to get away.

Okay I see your point of the Company name and although I cannot withdraw or erase what I've stated, I do say I was wrong with such a perspective.
