gatorbreath is on a distinguished road
Default Cr england all over careerbuilder

England is the only company out there still hiring and training newbies...how can that be in this economy? With all the bad things said about them, they sound like a pretty strong company to me or they're about to tank within the next couple of years.
I've read dozens and dozens of nightmare stories from ex-England truckers.
How do they stay in business? I mean, anyone who reads up on them would never go to work for them...I just don't get it!?
It's just weird the bad companies are still hiring and the good ones won't even return a call.
A very discussed Gator...

Prolly the same as swift. There training and hiring students then firing there **** ups. Then they get a new student to drive at a much lower rate. If they train a student and the student quits that student owe's $3000-4000.00 so either way there going to make there money. Regardless of these so called bad companies People need jobs! As is my case and recently went with Swift.

Its quite simple actually, because of the bad economic conditions drivers are'nt quitting even bad jobs,If you have turnover in this economy you must really suck as an employer,If these guys are still posting want ads its because of turnover, drivers are looking for jobs if they wont even CONSIDER working at your company there's a good reason.Having to hard-sell your company to prospective employees is not a mark of sucess, very much the opposite!!!

england is all over everywhere not just Careerbuilder.
They're at Monster, Job.com, and many other sites hawking their wares.
They (regardless of wording in ads) want Teams and SPECIFICALLY lease drivers.
While they'll hire Solo, they prefer Teams and Teams will of course get freight before or after the Lease drivers and everyone gets freight before the Solos.
Just their way of saying thank you for being a Solo driver.

I would go to work at swift or werner before cr england were I so inclined.

Wink England is making money off every new driver.

ENGLAND has been all over everywhere for over the 4 months I've been watching, at the very least. I investigated:1) if you have no CDL, they send you through their CDL school first. 2) If you have a CDL from anywhere but their school, but not years of recent experience, they will only hire you if you agree to pay about a grand for their refresher course. 3) They then try to sell you a truck on their lease purchase program. 4) If you will not be a customer for any of these programs do you think you will be hired?
