Wink looking for a grip

I'm looking for a padded grip for a shifter. My trainers new truck has stiff gears and he has callouses. I remember seeing one advertised in a magazine. A trucker with callous's made one and sells them fro 20 dollars. I threw out the magazine when I cleaned out my truck. Any suggestions?

What kind of truck is it?
A 1962 Mack with a triplex?
If it's that hard to shift, it is probably defective. Nothing a padded knob will cure.

Besides, those calluses look manly.

I've been out and about otr and local for nigh on 10 years never drove a truck that was so difficult to shift as would cause Callouses.
Try wearing one GLOVE, just don't start singing.

those callouses will go away after a while. and you say its a "new truck". till it gets a few more miles on it, it'll probably be this way.

the truck YOU GET, i can almost 100% assure you...........

WILL NOT BE BRAND NEW...........

and personally...........i have NEVER seen anyone get callouses from shifting gears. he's lying to you..........or he has "baby soft hands".........

probably like his "baby soft @ss" as well...........

gee driver....its ok to be green...we all were once...but a soft shifting knob...come on...they trying to sell you shi...stuff you dont need....ricardo is right...something wrong with truck or you or the trainer....you will get when you shift you wont need the clutch...the gears will fall in place....clutch for stoping and starting...listen to the sound of the engine...and dont wear no silly azz glove unless like micheal jackson....unless you are going to burn your fog lamps..unless you were sweat pants to drive...ok i will shut up...from a different century...
