A slight shortage of trucks was reported for the following commodities and regions:
watermelons and onions from Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas. A shortage of trucks
was reported for the following commodities and regions: mixed vegetables from Central
& South Florida, tomatoes from Central Florida, and sweet potatoes from Eastern North
Carolina. A slight surplus of trucks was reported for the following commodities and
regions: tomatoes, mixed vegetables, mangoes, melons and grapes from Mexico Crossings
through Nogales, Arizona, onions from Imperial Valley California and Vidalia District
Georgia and apples and pears from Yakima Valley & Wenatchee District Washington.
A surplus of trucks was reported for the following commodities and regions: potatoes
from Central Wisconsin. All other districts reported an adequate supply of trucks.
FIRST REPORT was issued for blueberries, nectarines and peaches from Central and Southern
San Joaquin Valley California, and cherries from San Joaquin Valley California.
