| | Will Estes and Fedex buy what is left of YRC
With all the speculation that ABF will buy USF, is it possible that after Mr. Zollars gets the government into the freight business. I mean by his intentional breaking of the union. After the taxpayers are responsible for the retirees pension plan payments is there a need for YRC to even exist? Mr.Z can take his cash and retire in comfort. And Fedex and Estes can carve up what is left. Both have enough credit to do so. ABF will do fine with USF. Estes already owns some YRC property, and Fedex would love to say they cleaned up the mess for 15- 30 cents on the dollar. Something to ponder.

WOW, never thought of that, but I do have one question.
Do you really think FED-EX would buy up union companys? They are the biggest ANTI union corp.
Not saying this because I work for UPS, but I think they (UPS) would do that before FED-EX would....
MR. Z can't just get rid of the union, the rank and file have to vote it out, and I don't see that happening....

It's not so much of buy them up its just the fact of getting there customers and loads. that is what will happen. If fedex needs to hire drivers they will do so. no big deal not everybody wants to be a union member.

| | Here is a thought
Since Union Pension Funds invest in various Companies such as Fed Ex, would Fed Ex, (if they bought out YRC) try to squash one of their Shareholders, (the unions)? How would this affect Fed Ex stock? Good question, huh? |

Never say never.
