Lay them flat and STACK'EM HIGH

And a trap so they dont hang their legs over hte side putting you over width.

Insert one to two small lead weights to each horses head, then lay each said horse into a horizontal position, depending on number of said horse you may have to stack on top of each other, then I would secure with cargo nets followed by tarpaulin, then a large number of straps & buckles, then proceed to destination with all due diligence.

I hauled quarter horses for awhile between LA and the bay area. 11 of those suckers at a time plus all the gear. I never want to do that again. I'll stick to freight. tp
