fedex freight, I don't recomend it but if you hire on as part time dock at 18 by the time your 21 you will surely be next in line for training, its a good program just not a good company, if you don't want to put up with lots and lots of BS, it pays good though.

ODFL trains guys off the dock as well, as far as I know though none will train right off the street. You have to come from the inside.

UPS Freight will give you a shot as well, as long as your a dockworker and want to advance, don't think they have a formal training program, I know the veteran drivers will help you out if you ask them. Per contract, the company has to provide the equipment for when you do the testing with the state. I was a parttime dockworker and went to a CDL school, got my CDL, came back and they made me a fulltime city driver.
