in my situation, as a driving instructor myself, i would recommend that you were collecting the SSI, and say nothing else.........now comes into play, the "time lines".........
were you "OFF" SSi at anytime, or were you continually on SSI up to now....???
if up to now, you are still collecting SSI, then say so on your applications. provide proof of your check stubs.
you NEVER NEED to mention "under the table work"..........
go to school, get your, ed-u-ma-K-shun..............
have ready your doctor's note saying you can go back to work, you're "cured"........
get a job.........
