Default Info on Panther II Transportation Good or bad?

Hello,

I have a interview with a company that leases there trucks to Panther II Transportation? Is Panther II Transportation a good company? Do they have any work or are they slow also? I have just finished cdl school with no otr experience should I just be happy for the job offer or look for a better company.
What question should I ask in the interview? What should I look for?
Thank you for your time
davey

If you are not driving Class A you are wasting your time for cheap wages and bad working conditions. I see these guys sleeping on the floor of their vans waiting for a load to show up at our terminal, then they have to fly to try to make a delivery on time that someone else screwed up.

If their owner operators aren't making enough money to get a hotel on the road, I can imagine how well they would treat a company driver. But I could be wrong, maybe they just hide the big bucks they are making and they are putting it away to retire to a nice cottage somewhere warm.

Panther II is okay for TEAMS yet not for SOLO drivers and this company is ONLY for Owner Operators.
They've stated last year a limit on distance for Solos at about 500 miles where TEAMS can go, say Coast to Coast, on a run.
They generally PREFER straight (Box) trucks like FEDEX Custom Critical.
They do not have a lot of runs available as has been seen LAST YEAR on their available freight site.

If there is NO SLEEPER on ANY Truck you are to drive, then either you're to be LOCAL or you have to be supplied with Motel/Hotel rooms, otherwise you're wasting your time.
If you're told "You pay for the room(s) and you'll get reimbursed", RUN!!
ANY company that is not willing to supply UPFRONT at the least 50% of ANY Motel/Hotel room while a driver is OTR is not a company to drive at/for/with.

Good Luck yet I would as well be looking elsewhere while you're able.

Remember too that any driving experience is not considered experience unless it is of the Class that you're to be driving.
One can go from Class A to B but not the opposite way.

read all the paperwork carefully
I know a guy who signed up with them
and wound up driving around in a little 6 wheeler
with a bunch of graffiti on it
with 2 Chinese guys
and they made him sit in the middle

Sitting in the middle would possibly appear that he was flipping the bird to everyone unless he was shorter than the others.
