I had a driver who had a pacemaker, and he applied for a job, but for his own good - and that of the company and the public in general, I had to pass him by.
Many of the places that he would have to enter operate microwave ovens and similar devices. After checking with a few people, I was told that these devices are not good for pacemakers, in fact these devices can be very unhealthy. I don't know why, but I was advised they were.
I was surpirsed that the man didn't know that - or maybe he was just unsure. But in any event, I would check for your own peace of mind.
