USPS Background Check

Hello all I'm being considered and most likely have a job driving tractor trailer for the United States Postal Service.

I have been sent forms to fill out for a background check.

Does anyone know what the USPS checks in regards to such as credit checks and judgements in regards to credit cards?

What company are you hiring on with???The back ground goes back 10 years and believe me they check everything.. Make sure you list everything as accurate as you can on your Appliaction. Kind of a crazy time at the Postal Service these days lots of changes coming down the pike.

I'm not hiring on with a company this is direct employment at the USPS.

What do you mean they check everything? The only blemishes I would have is a not good credit score/history and a couple of judgements that have to do with the bad credit history as we got ourselves in a jam for a period but are now out of the jam. But the judgements still appear on my credit check/history.

So I'm asking does the background check include credit and anything to do with credit such as credit score, credit history, etc, etc, etc....?

Im pretty sure they don't check your credit history or score just your prior employment, past resident, and references. Where are you hiring out at, I thought the postal service had a hiring freeze going on...

Im 100% sure your credit history won't count agansist you during the hiring process because I have a bankrupcy on my record....
