Default Will 1 Fender Bender Be a Problem?

I'm going to be starting CDL training in October on weekends and will finish in December.

I had a very minor fender bender last December when I bumped into another car. There was no police report but it did cause some minor damage to her car.

Will this keep me from getting a driving job? My driving record is otherwise good.

Thanks

no, but....since there wasn't any police report, was this accident reported any other way to any DMV office, or was it "squashed" mutually between you two...??

if NO report of any kind, then i think you're in the clear. best for you to go and get a copy of your DMV record and check it out for yourself.

do not volunteer any information to anyone about this fender-bender till you get that copy of your record.

Well the girl I ran in to reported it to her insurance. I'll get a copy of my DMV record and go from there. Thanks for the advice.

ah yes...........

and her insurance comapny could have told her to go to the poilice dept and fill out an "after the fact" police report........and a DMV report as well.

for instance, in my state, we are required to fill out a state DMV report if the damage goes over a certain amount, right now, i cannot tell you what that is, but if your state has such a requiremment, and she filled one out and you didn't, at least in my state, the license can be suspended.....for failing to fill out such a report.

yep, CYA, and go and get your DMV report. we can go from there.

I doubt it.

Whats keeping you from driving AND making money is the lousy economy. You may find a driving job, but the pay will be awful lousy for awhile.
