Hello Just Thought id say hello. Not Sure if this is the right place for this.

But Iam Soon to be a newbie On the Roads to trucking.
Going for my Air Brakes Test on tuesday.

Not so sure How hard it is going to be exactlly. My dad says its easy but hes a sarcastic type person so have no idea.

If At All Possible Iam Hopeing To Get A Few Tips I Should Know For My Test :)

Get the CMV handbook at the DMV.

The air brake in cab test is four parts: leak down test, low air warning device, air compressor regulator cut-out, and air compressor cut-in.

You need to know how to do these tests and what the air pressure values are so that you can pass this test.

You also need to know about the service and emergency air system sides, the different types of drum brakes used are and where the different brake system parts are located.

Study this very hard because this is where lots of new drivers fail the driving test.
