Do I have to do another DOT physical

I passed my DOT physical(long and short form)in April so that I can take a refresher course. But now, there is a good chance someone will hire me without the refresher. Do I have to do the DOT physical again?

most likely any new company will require you to take a new physical

Maybe if it's a mom and pop they won't but about any company will want you to see their doctor

it is an owner operator that leases with a broker. But he is thinking to try Landstar or CH robinson which are big. I am not worry passing, it just an inconvenience.

If you got a dot physical because you were told that you may need to do a refresher course and now this o/o wants to put you to work in his truck without it, I could be wrong here but how has your lack of recent exp. gone away? If you were running for this o/o for some time than (3 to 6 months is usually min. for low end companies) OK. but if not the dot card is the least of your troubles. Industry's real hard corp on the exp. today. It's the insurance Nazi's. and if you fake it and something goes terrible wrong its gonna be all you and anyone involved as the the Nazi's walk away with all they coins.
