Default Route From Las Vegas NV to Coeur d' Alene ID

next August, my friend and I want to drive from Las Vegas, Nevada to Coeur d'Alene ID, and I was wondering if anybody could suggest a good route to take. Thanks in advance for your time.

You obviously have a computer so using Mapquest should give you several routes to your destination.

It has been a while since I been out west ... but there is no good way routing vegas to coeur d' alene .... my best advice is to buy an old fashion map of nevada and idaho .... mapquest does not show elevations or if they shut down the roads during a certain time frame .. I dont mean this in a bad way but there is a whole lot of nothing when you get out of the nevada towns

You forgot to include a couple of things.
1) Are you driving a big truck, a motorcycle or a car??
2) Are you looking for the slow scenic, or fast Interstate type road??

If I had plenty of time I would just take
US95 all the way up there.

Take Us 93 to the I-84 Jerome,ID to US 95 in Fruitland,ID take US 95 all the way up.This is a brutal trip for a trucker, mostly 2 lane country roads no rest stops. You gotta use a turnout, sharp turns and if the center of your tandems are more than 40 ft from the center of your steers you'll get a ticket. This was my favorite trip because the scenery was spectacular
