Take the job. US Express isn't shutting the doors anytime soon and I've heard you can make a decent buck on the Dollar General dedicated. If anything you are keeping your CDL current and are marking time until this economy recovers and something better shows up. Good luck!

Thanks Krzy,Iam just concerned how hard it is to unload @ each of the stops theres like 3 stops per day. All the the products are in rolling cages I would hate to take the job and find out that I couldnt do it @ 57 years old dont work as well as they did @47. If i had to quit they would surely screwup my DAC

Not going to be easy, especially when it gets hot again. Averitt tried to get me to do it once and it's the only thing I've ever refused to do.
The rolling carts shouldn't be too bad, but the trailer I looked in had more freight stacked on top of the carts all the way to the roof.
Once you empty out some carts, you can load that stuff up it if doesn't bang you in the head falling down.
Guys told me you get no help at the stores and they all have tight little parking lots and no docks.
The guys over here get decent extra pay for it, but at 53 I know I can't do it, maybe 15 years ago I could.

All the trailers have liftgates. I have seen the carts outside the stores but wouldn't guess what the weight would why not post on their board? See if any drivers over their know what's up.
